3-Dimensional Art Techniques
A wide variety of subjects and projects are presented using age-appropriate materials to present fine art concepts and to study art history (i.e. focus on artists and their techniques and the current events of the time). Explore techniques with a variety of 3-D mediums including but not limited to: clay, wire, found objects, papier-mâché, and much more
2-Dimensional Art Techniques
As above, a wide variety of age-appropriate subjects are used to create 2-D artwork that explores fine art concepts (such as: perspective, 3-D rendering of objects, how to use different mediums, etc.) and art history. Materials used: various paints, markers, colored pencils, pastels, charcoal, collage, graphite, and watercolor; plus combinations of the preceding. Subject complexity increases with age.
